Follow-Me, leader in performer tracking technology, invites lighting industry professionals and venue owners to its inaugural open day at its new meeting and demo space at Underbelly Boulevard Soho London. Scheduled for June 17th from 11:00 to 15:00, this special event will offer hands-on demonstrations of Follow-Me’s performer tracking solutions, supported by SLX.

The open day takes place at Follow-Me’s newly established demonstration facility within Underbelly Boulevard Soho, situated in London’s bustling Soho district. This state-of-the-art venue provides industry professionals with direct access to Follow-Me’s innovative remote follow-spot and performer tracking technology in a real-world environment.

Luke Edwards, Designer Relations Liaison UK at Follow-Me, will lead the day’s activities, offering personalised demonstrations, Q&A opportunities, and technical consultations. Visitors can explore Follow-Me’s comprehensive technology suite, featuring the sophisticated Follow-Me 3D TWO and SIX systems for complete three-dimensional tracking capabilities, alongside the adaptable Follow-Me Track-iT auto tracking solution.

Follow-Me’s advanced technology equips lighting designers with advanced capabilities to customise the lighting on and around the artist during a show. The Follow-Me systems utilise pan and tilt fixtures to function as a remote follow-spot, while delivering precise 3D performer positioning data to enhance immersive lighting experiences. This data also can be used for audio systems, video mapping applications, and stage automation integration.

The Follow-Me systems enable more possibilities for designers to be creative, and address the evolving needs to modernise and meet industry standards. Traditional follow-spot equipment faces spatial, operational constraints and stricter rules regarding working conditions.

This open day launches Follow-Me’s ongoing commitment to providing regular educational opportunities at the Soho location, with planned monthly training sessions designed to give operators practical experience with the technology in professional settings.
